Job Overview
The Deputy Head of CIT will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of CIT in the strategic planning, operational management, and continuous improvement of Bemil Nigeria Limited’s Cash-In-Transit services. This position requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of logistical operations, risk management, and team leadership within a security-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies for CIT services.
Oversee daily CIT operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to all protocols.
Manage and mentor CIT teams, fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability.
Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies for CIT operations.
Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for operational enhancement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Cash-In-Transit or a related logistical/security operations management role.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability in operational planning, execution, and problem-solving.
Strong understanding of risk management principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
