Job Overview

The Deputy Head of CIT will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of CIT in the strategic planning, operational management, and continuous improvement of Bemil Nigeria Limited’s Cash-In-Transit services. This position requires a proactive leader with a strong understanding of logistical operations, risk management, and team leadership within a security-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies for CIT services.
  • Oversee daily CIT operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to all protocols.
  • Manage and mentor CIT teams, fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability.
  • Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies for CIT operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for operational enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Cash-In-Transit or a related logistical/security operations management role.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability in operational planning, execution, and problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
