Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain, and optimize after-hours rosters for a diverse range of service delivery teams, ensuring compliance with award conditions, enterprise agreements, and client needs.
* Proactively identify and address potential rostering conflicts, skill shortages, and leave requests, implementing timely and effective solutions.
* Communicate effectively with operational managers, team leaders, and frontline staff regarding roster changes, availability, and any emergent staffing requirements.
* Respond to urgent after-hours staffing requests, including sourcing casual or relief staff, and managing shift adjustments as required.
* Accurately record and reconcile all rostered hours, leave, and absenteeism in the relevant rostering and payroll systems.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industrial instruments and organisational policies pertaining to rostering and employment conditions.
* Provide ongoing support and assistance to staff with queries related to their rosters and availability.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of rostering processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

* Demonstrated experience in a rostering or scheduling role, preferably within a 24/7 or after-hours service environment.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using rostering software and other relevant HR/payroll systems.
* A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, particularly in high-pressure situations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
* A commitment to upholding the values and mission of Life Without Barriers.

What We Offer

* The opportunity to work for a recognised “Top Employer” with a strong reputation for positive social impact.
* A supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued.
* Flexible working arrangements to support your work-life balance, with the ability to work remotely.
* Ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth.
* The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable Australians.
