We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Chief of Staff to join our Nigeria team. This critical role will support the Country Director in driving operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and organizational growth across Nigeria.

Job Overview

The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Country Director for Nigeria. This role involves managing complex projects, streamlining operations, facilitating communication, and ensuring efficient execution of the country strategy. The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness and impact of One Acre Fund’s operations in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Country Director in developing and executing the Nigeria country strategy.
• Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and teams.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the Country Director’s schedule and priorities, ensuring maximum efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a strategic, operational, or project management role.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Experience working in the nonprofit sector or with smallholder farmers is a plus.
