Job Overview

We are looking for compassionate individuals to oversee the day-to-day operations of our student hostels. Hostel Parents will serve as guardians, mentors, and role models, ensuring the safety, discipline, and comfort of students residing on campus. This position requires individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a genuine interest in student welfare, and the ability to manage a residential community effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and security of students within the hostel premises.
• Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
• Provide guidance and emotional support to students, addressing their concerns and needs.
• Organize and supervise recreational and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with school administration and teaching staff regarding student progress and welfare.
• Manage hostel logistics, including cleanliness, meals, and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on matters concerning their children.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Diploma (OND) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working with children or in a residential care setting is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Must be trustworthy, reliable, and possess good organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
