M & W Nuts Company, a prominent cashew processing agri-business dedicated to enhancing the value of Nigeria’s raw cashew exports since 2016, is seeking a dynamic Modern Trade Sales Executive to join our team in Nigeria. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and driving sales within the modern trade channel, serving both our domestic and international clientele.

Job Overview

The Modern Trade Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to penetrate and grow business within modern retail chains, supermarkets, and other relevant modern trade outlets across Nigeria. You will cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring optimal product placement and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies for the modern trade channel.
• Identify and acquire new modern trade accounts, expanding M & W Nuts’ market share.
• Manage and nurture existing relationships with key modern trade partners.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities with retailers.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular reports.
• Ensure product visibility and availability in retail outlets.
• Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, specifically within the FMCG or agri-business sector, with a focus on modern trade.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian modern retail landscape.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Proficiency in sales reporting and CRM software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
