MEAL Activity Manager

Solidarités International seeks an experienced MEAL Activity Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a leading humanitarian organization with over 35 years of expertise, we provide emergency aid and long-term support to vulnerable populations affected by conflict and natural disasters. This role is crucial in ensuring our programs effectively meet vital needs including water, food, and shelter, while building community resilience and self-sufficiency.

Job Overview

The MEAL Activity Manager will oversee monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning initiatives across our operational programs in Malaysia. You will ensure evidence-based decision-making, program quality, and organizational learning while maintaining transparency with beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive MEAL frameworks and tools for humanitarian programs
• Monitor program indicators and analyze data to assess impact and effectiveness
• Conduct evaluations and produce evidence-based reports for senior management
• Support beneficiary feedback mechanisms and accountability processes
• Train staff on MEAL methodologies and best practices
• Coordinate with field teams to collect quality data and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (development, social sciences, statistics)
• 5+ years MEAL experience in humanitarian or development organizations
• Proficiency in data analysis and quantitative research methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with beneficiary-centered approaches
