Malaria Consortium Nigeria is seeking dynamic and organized individuals to serve as LQAS Supervisors for our vital malaria control initiatives across the country. In partnership with the Ministry of Health, we are dedicated to reducing the significant burden of malaria through impactful programs like SuNMaP, NetWorks, and MAPS, focusing on technical support, capacity building, and health systems strengthening. LQAS Supervisors will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our Last Kilometer Assessment Strategy, ensuring data quality and effective community engagement.

Job Overview

The LQAS Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of data collectors, ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of Last Kilometer Assessment surveys. This role requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and manage field teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train a team of data collectors for LQAS surveys.
  • Ensure adherence to survey protocols and quality standards.
  • Monitor data collection progress and troubleshoot challenges in the field.
  • Conduct regular checks on data accuracy and completeness.
  • Compile and submit field reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with community leaders and stakeholders.
  • Requirements

  • Previous experience in community-based surveys or data collection is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with the local context and languages is an advantage.
