Job Overview

The Logistics Freight Coordinator will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery for our diverse client base and internal operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of logistics principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end freight process, including shipment planning, carrier selection, and route optimization.
  • Monitor shipments in transit, providing real-time updates and proactively addressing potential delays or issues.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, documentation, and associated costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and customs procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of international and domestic transportation modes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
