Job Overview

The Local Content Associate will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring Tetra Maritime’s local content strategy in Nigeria. This position requires a deep understanding of Nigerian oil and gas industry regulations, particularly concerning local content policies, and the ability to foster strong relationships with local suppliers, communities, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local content plans in alignment with Nigerian regulatory requirements.
• Identify and onboard qualified Nigerian suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor and report on local content performance, ensuring compliance with targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies and industry stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of training programs for Nigerian personnel.
• Conduct market research to identify new local content opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in local content management within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act (NOGICD Act).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and databases.
