Job Overview

The Learning & Development Manager (Academy) will be responsible for the strategic design, development, and implementation of comprehensive learning programs within Nextzon’s Academy. This role requires a passionate educator and strategist who can identify learning needs, curate engaging content, and measure the impact of development initiatives, ensuring alignment with Nextzon’s mission and the evolving needs of the Nigerian business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic L&D roadmap for the Nextzon Academy.
  • Design and deliver impactful training programs, workshops, and learning materials.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.
  • Manage the Academy’s budget and resources effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D initiatives and report on key metrics.
  • Cultivate relationships with external training providers and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure all learning programs adhere to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development management, preferably in a corporate academy setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian business environment is advantageous.
