Job Overview

Teltwine Networks Limited is seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in Ilorin, Nigeria. As a leading provider of telecommunications infrastructure, we specialize in the installation and maintenance of critical equipment that keeps businesses and communities connected. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the seamless operation of vital communication networks. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction, ensuring the reliable performance of systems from telephone exchanges to advanced data transmission solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication switching and transmission equipment, including telephone exchanges (Switches, Gatekeepers, GSM Base Transceiver stations).
* Perform installation and configuration of V-SAT systems, ensuring optimal satellite communication performance.
* Deploy and maintain Carrier Grade Microwave Radio links for high-capacity data transmission.
* Execute precise copper and fibre optic cable splicing and termination for robust network connectivity.
* Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecommunication infrastructure to minimize downtime.
* Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry best practices during all installation and maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with project managers and other technical teams to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Provide technical support and respond to service requests from corporate clients.

Requirements

* Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of telecommunication equipment.
* Strong understanding of telecommunication principles, network protocols, and infrastructure.
* Proficiency in working with GSM Base Transceiver Stations, V-SATs, and Microwave Radio systems.
* Demonstrated expertise in copper and fibre optic cable splicing and termination techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant technical certifications in telecommunications or IT are a significant advantage.
