Job Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Moniepoint, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of our critical payment and banking infrastructure. You will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and maintaining robust systems and processes that support our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • Implement and manage robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
  • Drive automation initiatives for deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative measures.
  • Contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning efforts.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and database management.
