The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a dedicated GBV / Protection Case Management Specialist to join our team in Denmark. Job Overview

The GBV / Protection Case Management Specialist will be responsible for the direct implementation and oversight of case management services for survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and other protection concerns. This role involves providing comprehensive support, ensuring adherence to best practices, and contributing to the overall protection strategy within DRC Denmark.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of needs for survivors of GBV and other protection concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized case management plans.
• Provide direct psychosocial support and referrals to specialized services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of GBV and protection training.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of case management interventions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, International Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in GBV case management and protection programming.
• In-depth understanding of GBV principles, IASC Guidelines, and relevant protection frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in Danish and English; other languages are an asset.
