Job Overview

The Civil Engineering Manager will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of all civil engineering projects and infrastructure at Coca-Cola Nigeria. This includes overseeing site development, building construction, utility systems, and ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for civil engineering projects.
  • Manage design, procurement, and construction phases of infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of existing facilities and infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for all civil engineering activities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and technical staff.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian building codes and construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
