Job Overview

The Chinese Translator will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our Chinese stakeholders and our Nigerian operations. This position requires a keen understanding of both languages and cultures, ensuring accurate and effective information exchange across all levels of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate all relevant project documents, technical reports, and communications between Chinese and English.
  • Facilitate verbal communication during meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness in all translated materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
  • Support the integration of Chinese technical expertise and operational procedures.

    • Requirements

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience as a translator, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
  • Excellent understanding of technical terminology.
  • Strong cultural awareness and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
