Job Overview

The Business Innovation & Delivery Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and implementing innovative solutions and services that enhance UP®’s market position and deliver exceptional value to our customers and partners. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management acumen, and a deep understanding of the payments and financial technology landscape in Nigeria and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the payments and fintech sectors.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies for potential innovations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, technology, and external partners.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of new initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development, project management, or business innovation within the financial services or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian payments ecosystem and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
