Job Overview

The Accounts Officer will be instrumental in managing the financial operations of KAAF Specialist Hospital, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant accounting principles and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and operational integrity of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and reconcile financial statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Manage bank reconciliations and ensure smooth cash flow.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Support the audit process and provide necessary financial information.
  • Generate financial reports as required by management.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
