Since 2019, our Lagos locations at Lekki Phase 1 and Surulere have delivered exceptional care to numerous communities. Job Overview
The Account Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and supporting the overall financial health of the Jos clinic. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our newest location.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts payable, including verifying and processing invoices and payments.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing patients and tracking payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as required.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
