Job Overview

The Account Officer will be responsible for managing and processing a range of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Process payments, reconcile bank statements, and manage petty cash.
• Support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
