Job Overview

The Account Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of Agiville Industries Limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
