Job Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within our bakery chain. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing preventative and reactive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all bakery equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for critical components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in the procurement of new equipment and oversee installation processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar technical leadership role, preferably within the food industry or a related sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and manuals.
