Job Overview

The Information System Audit Lead will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on information system audits across Ikeja Electric. This role requires a deep understanding of IT audit methodologies, risk management, and control frameworks to safeguard our critical digital assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT audit plans and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
• Execute IT audits, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and data integrity checks.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Identify control weaknesses and provide practical, actionable recommendations for remediation.
• Prepare detailed audit reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of emerging IT risks, threats, and regulatory changes.
• Mentor and guide junior audit staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information system auditing, IT risk management, or a related field.
• Proven knowledge of IT audit frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001).
• Experience with various operating systems, databases, and network technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
