Job Overview

The Station Account Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies at assigned Rainoil service stations. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record all daily sales transactions, including cash, card, and credit sales.
• Reconcile daily cash and card takings with sales reports.
• Manage petty cash expenses and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to management.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures related to financial management.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary financial documentation.
• Handle customer queries related to billing and payments.

Requirements

• Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas or retail sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
