Job Overview

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying supplier needs to managing vendor relationships. This role requires strategic sourcing, diligent contract management, and a commitment to achieving optimal value for Ngcom Network Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms and pricing for goods and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay abreast of industry trends and pricing.
• Manage vendor performance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and manage inventory levels.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and negotiation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
