Job Overview
As a Senior Quality Engineer at LawnStarter, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our quality assurance strategy. You will collaborate closely with our talented engineering and product teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless user experience for our growing customer base. This remote position offers the chance to impact a high-growth technology company from your base in São Paulo.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Design and execute automated test suites to ensure efficient and repeatable testing processes.
Conduct thorough regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs with detailed steps for reproduction and resolution.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide early feedback on design and functionality.
Champion quality best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes.
Mentor junior QA team members and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience as a Senior Quality Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
