Malaria Consortium Nigeria is seeking a diligent and organized Logistics Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are at the forefront of combating malaria in Nigeria, working collaboratively with the Ministry of Health and various partners to implement impactful control initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our programs, including Support to the National Malaria Control Programme (SuNMaP), NetWorks, and MAPS, which focus on technical support, capacity building, and health systems strengthening.
Job Overview
The Logistics Assistant will provide essential support in managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of program materials and equipment across Nigeria. This role will ensure that all logistical activities align with Malaria Consortium’s standards and contribute to the effective delivery of our malaria control programs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of logistics for program activities.
Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods to various project sites.
Support the procurement process, including obtaining quotations and processing orders.
Maintain organized logistics documentation and reports.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum of a National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a logistics or administrative support role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
