Job Overview

The Account Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the finance department in various operational tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and policies.
  • Support external audits.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
