Job Overview

The UNOPS Graduate Trainee Program is a comprehensive 12-month initiative providing hands-on experience across various functional areas within UNOPS Nigeria. Trainees will contribute to the planning, implementation, and monitoring of critical projects, working closely with experienced professionals and gaining exposure to the complexities of international development operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of project activities.
  • Support procurement processes and contract management.
  • Contribute to financial monitoring and reporting.
  • Conduct research and analysis on project-related issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and communication efforts.
  • Requirements

  • Recently completed a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Development Studies, Public Administration, International Relations, Project Management, Engineering, Law, Finance).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated interest in international development and humanitarian work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
  • Eligibility to work in Nigeria.
