Aid Initiative to Support Vulnerable and Ideal People (AISVIP) is a distinguished Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to the empowerment of vulnerable and underprivileged individuals in Nigerian society. Established in 2016 by a group committed to humanitarian efforts in Northeast Nigeria, AISVIP was formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on July 17, 2018, operating as a non-political, non-profitable, and national-based entity. Job Overview

AISVIP seeks a diligent and dedicated Protection Monitor to join our team in Nigeria. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of individuals we serve by monitoring and reporting on protection concerns within our program areas. The Protection Monitor will play a vital part in upholding AISVIP’s commitment to ethical and effective humanitarian assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular monitoring visits to program sites and communities.
  • Identify and document protection risks, violations, and vulnerable individuals.
  • Collect and analyze data related to protection issues.
  • Report findings and recommendations to the Protection Officer.
  • Liaise with community members and local stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of protection-related activities.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in protection monitoring or similar humanitarian roles.
  • Strong understanding of protection principles and humanitarian standards.
  • Excellent data collection and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English and relevant local languages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
