Job Overview

The Tool Center Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of various tools and equipment within the Siemens Lomé facility. This position plays a crucial role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the quality of production output by maintaining the integrity of our tooling infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical tools and machinery.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of worn or damaged tool components.
  • Calibrate tools to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and address tooling issues.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and tooling systems.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
