Job Overview

The Cleaner/Office Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of YouthhubAfrica’s office premises, as well as providing essential administrative support to facilitate smooth daily operations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a welcoming and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the office, including workspaces, meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Perform regular cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and notifying the relevant personnel when replenishment is needed.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including organizing files, photocopying, scanning, and distributing mail.
  • Support event preparation and breakdown as required, ensuring the office space is set up and cleared efficiently.
  • Maintain the organization and tidiness of storage areas.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in cleaning and general office assistance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
