Job Overview

The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to provide accurate and timely results for patient diagnosis and treatment. This role is crucial in supporting our clinical teams in diagnosing and managing patient conditions across various medical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and quality control.
  • Prepare specimens for analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Record and report test results accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies.

    • Requirements

  • National Diploma or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
  • Proficiency in common laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
