M & W Nuts Company, a leading cashew processing agri-business in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic Sales Merchandiser to drive product visibility and sales growth within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Established in 2016, we are dedicated to adding value to Nigeria’s cashew exports and proudly serve both domestic and international markets.
Job Overview
The Sales Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring M & W Nuts Company’s products are optimally displayed and promoted in retail environments across Nigeria. This role is crucial in building strong brand presence, influencing consumer purchasing decisions, and achieving sales targets for our premium cashew products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and appeal in retail outlets.
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor stock levels, product placement, and competitor activities.
- Ensure product freshness and adherence to quality standards on shelves.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and store managers.
- Execute promotional campaigns and in-store activations.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on sales performance and market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales merchandising within the FMCG sector in Nigeria.
- Excellent understanding of retail environments and consumer behaviour.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Knowledge of the cashew market is an advantage.
