Job Overview

The Senior Manager – Value Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue and customer value within specific market segments. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive value-based sales strategies aligned with MTN Nigeria’s business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand market share and revenue streams.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop tailored value propositions.
  • Manage key customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product and service offerings.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling principles and customer lifecycle management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Experience within the telecommunications or technology sector is an advantage.
