Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our retail betting shop operations in Nigeria. The Retail Manager will be instrumental in driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a positive and engaging environment for both our customers and staff. Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more Betgr8 retail betting shops, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
* Drive sales performance by implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and achieving revenue targets.
* Manage and motivate a team of retail staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing and customer-centric culture.
* Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including responsible gaming practices.
* Maintain the highest standards of shop presentation, cleanliness, and security, creating an inviting and safe environment for customers.
* Manage inventory levels, stock control, and cash handling procedures accurately and efficiently.
* Develop and implement local marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and customer engagement within the designated retail areas.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

* Proven experience in retail management, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing operational efficiency.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* A keen understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
* Proficiency in basic financial management, including cash handling, stock control, and P&L awareness.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the retail environment.
* Familiarity with the gaming or betting industry in Nigeria is a significant advantage.
