Job Overview

This critical role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems, generators, and related farm equipment at Aldelano Organic Foods. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our sophisticated hydroponic systems, climate control, lighting, and power generation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electrical background coupled with hands-on experience in maintaining complex machinery within an agricultural or industrial setting, prioritizing safety and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, lighting, and power distribution.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
* Install, maintain, and service backup generators, ensuring their readiness for emergency power supply.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on all farm machinery and equipment, including pumps, fans, and irrigation systems, with a focus on electrical components.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on farm equipment, working collaboratively with the farm operations team.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of electrical and mechanical parts.
* Assist with the implementation of new electrical systems and equipment as the farm expands and innovates.

Requirements

* Valid Electrician’s license or equivalent certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
* Proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.
* Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of generators and related power generation equipment.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
* Solid understanding of mechanical systems commonly found in agricultural or greenhouse environments.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote operational setting.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety protocols.
