Job Overview
As a Volunteer with the One Health Resilience Initiative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our diverse range of projects and programs aimed at enhancing wellbeing across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach activities and awareness campaigns related to One Health principles.
* Support the collection of qualitative and quantitative data through surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions under the guidance of project leads.
* Provide logistical and administrative support for workshops, training sessions, and meetings organized by OHRI.
* Contribute to the development and dissemination of educational materials and communication collateral for various stakeholders.
* Facilitate communication and engagement between OHRI project teams and community members in designated project areas.
* Assist in monitoring and evaluating project activities, helping to document progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Participate in field visits to project sites within Adamawa, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, and Taraba states, as required.
* Support the team in research activities and literature reviews related to One Health challenges and solutions in Nigeria.
Requirements
* A strong passion for public health, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, or community development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and environments, demonstrating a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
