Job Overview

Petro-Tracking Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Welding and Fabrication Instructor to join our dynamic training division. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in imparting comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in welding and fabrication techniques to our diverse clientele. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging training programs that meet rigorous industry standards and prepare individuals for successful careers in demanding technical fields. Key Responsibilities

* Develop, update, and deliver comprehensive training curricula for various welding processes (e.g., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) and fabrication techniques.
* Conduct practical training sessions in workshops, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
* Assess trainee performance through practical demonstrations, theoretical examinations, and project evaluations.
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to trainees, fostering their understanding and skill development.
* Maintain detailed records of trainee progress, attendance, and assessment results.
* Stay abreast of the latest advancements and industry trends in welding technology and fabrication methods.
* Ensure all training equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition and are compliant with safety regulations.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of training methodologies and materials to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a certified welder and fabricator in industrial settings, preferably within the oil & gas, or heavy fabrication sectors.
* Possession of relevant professional certifications in welding (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) and a strong understanding of various welding codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
* Demonstrated experience in delivering technical training or mentoring junior personnel.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications relevant to welding and fabrication.
* A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of workshop safety procedures.
* Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
