Job Overview

Westfield Consulting is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Head of IT Audit & Compliance to join our dynamic remote team. This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive IT audit and compliance strategy that safeguards our clients’ digital assets and ensures adherence to relevant regulations and industry best practices. You will lead a team of skilled auditors, foster strong client relationships, and continuously evolve our methodologies to address the ever-changing landscape of technology and cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and manage the firm’s IT audit strategy and framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
* Lead and mentor a team of IT audit and compliance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify key IT control deficiencies and areas for improvement within client organizations.
* Plan and execute IT audit engagements, including SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
* Develop clear, concise, and actionable audit reports and recommendations for senior management and client stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with clients to understand their IT environments, business processes, and risk appetite.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies, cybersecurity threats, and evolving regulatory requirements impacting our clients.
* Champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across all client engagements and internal operations.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CGEIT, CIA) strongly preferred.
* Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in IT audit, risk management, and compliance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
* Demonstrated expertise in various IT audit methodologies, frameworks, and control standards.
* Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a remote or distributed work environment.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data privacy regulations, and cloud computing environments.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
