Job Overview
Sun King is seeking a dedicated and driven Store Executive to manage and oversee our retail operations in Ughelli, Delta State. This crucial role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient functioning of our local Sun King store, from inventory management to customer service excellence. The Store Executive will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining product availability, and fostering a positive brand experience for our customers within the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a secure and well-organized retail environment.
* Oversee inventory levels, accurately tracking stock, managing reorders, and minimizing stock discrepancies to ensure product availability for customers.
* Drive sales performance by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting Sun King’s solar energy solutions.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and building strong relationships to foster customer loyalty.
* Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the store, ensuring products are attractively displayed and the overall store presentation is inviting.
* Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile inventory against sales records, identifying and investigating any variances.
* Collaborate with the broader Sun King team to implement sales strategies, participate in local marketing initiatives, and provide feedback on market trends.
* Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards within the store premises.
Requirements
* Proven experience in retail management, store operations, or a related customer-facing role.
* Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications, including inventory tracking software or point-of-sale systems.
* A genuine interest in contributing to sustainable energy solutions and improving lives in off-grid communities.
* Residency or strong familiarity with the Ughelli, Delta State region is highly preferred.
