## Job Overview

The Paradigm Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to lead and inspire our design initiatives. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in delivering exceptional architectural projects from concept to completion. ## Key Responsibilities

* Lead the design process for complex and large-scale architectural projects, from initial concept development and schematic design through to detailed construction documentation.
* Develop and present innovative design solutions that meet client objectives, regulatory requirements, and the Paradigm Group’s high standards for aesthetics and functionality.
* Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams (including engineers, project managers, and construction specialists) to ensure seamless project execution.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance on building codes, materials, construction methods, and sustainable design principles relevant to the Nigerian context.
* Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring design quality across the team.
* Conduct site visits and project reviews to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure adherence to approved designs.
* Prepare and deliver compelling design presentations to clients and review boards.
* Stay abreast of current architectural trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into the Paradigm Group’s design philosophy.

## Requirements

* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
* A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio showcasing significant projects.
* Professional registration and licensing as an Architect in Nigeria.
* Demonstrated proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
* In-depth knowledge of Nigerian building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor design teams, and to effectively manage project timelines and budgets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
