Job Overview

The Energy Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing energy-saving strategies across our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This position requires a deep understanding of energy management principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, design and implement energy-efficient solutions, and monitor progress towards our sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement comprehensive energy management plans, aligned with our organizational objectives and sustainability targets
* Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for energy savings
* Design and implement energy-efficient projects, including lighting, HVAC, and renewable energy systems
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote energy-awareness and behavioral change, encouraging a culture of sustainability
* Monitor and analyze energy consumption patterns, identifying trends and areas for improvement
* Develop and manage energy budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource allocation
* Research and stay up-to-date with emerging energy technologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements
* Provide training and support to employees on energy-efficient practices and procedures

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a strong focus on energy management and sustainability
* Proven experience in energy management, preferably in a non-profit or similar organization, with a demonstrated track record of success
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Strong knowledge of energy management principles, including energy auditing, energy efficiency, and renewable energy systems
* Familiarity with energy management software and tools, as well as data analysis and reporting techniques
* Certification in energy management, such as CEM or CEPE, is highly desirable
* Ability to work in a remote environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills
