Job Overview

The Territory Retention Manager role is a critical position at d.light, responsible for leading our customer retention efforts and driving business growth in designated territories. As a key member of our sales team, you will be tasked with developing and executing strategic plans to retain existing customers, identify new business opportunities, and foster strong relationships with our partners and stakeholders. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious goals and solidify our position as a market leader in the renewable energy sector. With a focus on customer-centricity and results-driven performance, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of energy access for off-grid communities.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement territory-specific retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value and drive business growth
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
* Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align retention efforts with overall business objectives
* Analyze customer data and sales performance metrics to inform retention strategies and optimize results
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling, to increase revenue and expand our customer base
* Provide coaching and support to sales teams to enhance their retention skills and performance

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer retention
* Proven track record of success in customer retention, sales, or business development, with a strong understanding of the renewable energy sector
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and performance metrics
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
* Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages an advantage
