Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and education, and we are now seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver/Nanny to join our team.
Job Overview
As a Caregiver/Nanny at Colourbox Early Learning Hub, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children. You will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our children. You will work closely with our team of educators and caregivers to develop and implement engaging activities and lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional care and attention to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met
* Develop and implement engaging activities and lesson plans that promote learning and development
* Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages socialization, exploration, and creativity
* Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration
* Monitor and report on children’s progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
* Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards
* Collaborate with the education team to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of each child
* Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other meetings to discuss children’s progress and development
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood care and education
* Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Reliable and flexible, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education
