Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental/Regulatory Advisor I to join our team in the Engineering and Project Support Services department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards, as well as providing expert advice on environmental matters related to our projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the development of sustainable and responsible practices in the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert advice on environmental regulations, standards, and best practices to project teams and stakeholders
* Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analyses to identify potential environmental hazards and develop mitigation strategies
* Develop and implement environmental management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into project design, planning, and execution
* Monitor and report on environmental performance and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and industry partners to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices
* Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to environmental processes and procedures

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices in the oil and gas industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to environmental challenges
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
* Proficiency in environmental management systems and software, such as ISO 14001 and environmental monitoring databases
