Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team at AFRYDEV, where you will have the opportunity to work remotely and be part of a dynamic and diverse team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to empower and enlighten youth societies for peace and development. Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for youth development, peace, and empowerment, as well as excellent skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. You will be working closely with our team to design and implement programs, projects, and activities that promote peace, development, and empowerment among youth.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement programs, projects, and activities that promote peace, development, and empowerment among youth
* Develop and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, including other NGOs, government agencies, and community organizations
* Conduct research and analyze data to inform program development and policy recommendations
* Provide technical support and capacity-building training to youth leaders and organizations
* Develop and manage project budgets, reports, and other administrative documents
* Facilitate workshops, conferences, and other events to promote youth development and empowerment
* Collaborate with the communications team to develop and disseminate information, education, and communication materials
* Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact, and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international development, peace studies, or youth studies
* At least 2 years of experience working in youth development, peacebuilding, or a related field
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
* Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data
* Experience in program design, implementation, and management
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
