Job Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) at Credit Direct Limited, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure. You will be responsible for leading the development of new features, improving existing ones, and collaborating with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with a passion for Node.js and a proven track record of delivering complex projects. Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure
* Lead the development of new features and improvements to existing ones, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
* Write high-quality, testable, and efficient code, following best practices and industry standards
* Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of our backend systems
* Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to our coding standards
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working with our support team to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our backend systems
* Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles

Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js
* Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and practices
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
* Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and relevant frameworks (e.g., Express.js)
* Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL or MongoDB
* Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, with experience in implementing secure coding practices
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
