Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and specifications
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality delivery
* Conduct site inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against benchmarks and milestones
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure integrated project delivery
* Identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and community leaders, to promote the company’s brand and reputation
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our processes and services

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Membership of a relevant professional body, such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers or the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria
