Job Overview
The Ticketing & Reservation Manager will oversee all ticketing and reservation activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. This position requires hands-on involvement in daily operations while maintaining oversight of reservation processes and client communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ticketing and reservation operations for airline and travel services
- Process customer bookings through GDS platforms accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with IATA regulations and agency standards
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve booking-related issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions
- Train and supervise ticketing staff members
- Monitor system performance and identify process improvements
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND qualification in any discipline
- IATA/UFTAA Diploma or IATA Foundation certification in Travel & Tourism
- 5-7 years hands-on ticketing and reservation experience in reputable travel agencies
- Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre GDS certification (mandatory)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
