Job Overview
AlphaSense is looking for a Security Operations Analyst II to enhance our security posture. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, as well as contributing to the development and improvement of our security operations capabilities.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from various sources.
- Investigate and triage security incidents, escalating as necessary.
- Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans.
- Participate in threat hunting activities.
- Support security tool implementation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in security operations or a related cybersecurity role.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring principles.
- Understanding of common security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
